Melissa Robertson

Activities Therapist

Before joining the crew at Alice’s Clubhouse, Melissa spent over 30 years working in HR. She discovered her passion for helping people with dementia in 2020, when she became Director of Human Resources at a senior living community in Mount Pleasant and was responsible for all HR functions for a staff of 140 employees and 250 residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Melissa is certified in “Meet Me Where I Am” dementia training and was Med Tech certified. She is committed to the well-being, safety, understanding and inclusiveness of all Clubhouse members.

Melissa holds a Business Degree with a focus on HR and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. She moved to Mount Pleasant in 2003 with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys the beach, reading and spending time with her family.
